Reasons To Visit

With Pendle Hill on our doorstep and the rolling landscape of the Ribble Valley stretching out all around, adventure begins the moment you step outside.

Misty mornings, wide open skies and winding country lanes set the scene for days spent exploring. Wander the hills for far-reaching views, riverside paths and quiet bridleways, or cycle through charming villages. Moody and dramatic one moment, beautifully peaceful the next, this is countryside that invites you to roam – and then return to good food, a glowing fire and a well-earned rest.

Whether you’re here to discover or enjoy a slower pace of life, there are countless reasons to discover it all from the comfort of the Assheton Arms.
