Mitton Hall near Whalley in Lancashire, part of the Dream Venues Collection by James’ Places, was named Best Hotel Wedding Venue at the Lancashire Tourism Award 2022 last night at the Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre.
The award win comes just a few days after the group reported a record month for wedding sales in January 2023. The Dream Venues Collection represents the five wedding venues within the James’ Places group which include: Mitton Hall near Whalley, Eaves Hall in West Bradford, Shireburn Arms in Hurst Green, Holmes Mill in Clitheroe and Falcon Manor in Settle.
Wedding bookings across the group for the month of January were up 20% on their previous record year in 2019. Positive results were also reported for the contract value of the weddings booked in January which were 12% up on previous highest value year in 2020.

2023 is set to be an exciting year for the collection, following a multi-million-pound finance package with Barclays for Bowland Inns & Hotels last year, they received a £26 million facility to refinance existing debt and provide important funds to support their future acquisition plans. Further announcements around their most recent acquisition are expected in the coming month.
