Jade and Will’s love story began in 2020 with a chance match and an instant connection – one that quickly grew into something certain and deeply felt. What started with a first date and an easy spark soon became a relationship built on laughter, love and knowing you’ve found your person.
That feeling was sealed in June 2023 with a surprise proposal on the Amalfi Coast, overlooking the breathtaking views of Ravello. Their summer wedding at Mitton Hall was a joyful reflection of their journey – bright, warm and full of personality, with lemon-inspired details, incredible live music and heartfelt moments shared with family and friends. A celebration that felt effortlessly happy from start to finish.

About You
Please tell us a little about your relationship. How did you meet?
We met back in 2020 on a dating app, however, Will tells everyone we met in a fun bar called ‘Hinge’. Our first date was at an Italian Restaurant in Poulton-Le-Fylde, followed by a drive through the Blackpool Illuminations afterwards. Will ran into his brother’s room once the date had finished and told him that I was the one, and I felt exactly the same about him!
About You
When, where and how was the marriage proposal?
The proposal was back in June 2023, in the Amalfi Coast. He got down on one knee on the Terrace of Infinity at Villa Crimbone in Ravello. It was a COMPLETE surprise and was made an even bigger surprise when I was greeted by his brother and brother-in-law who filmed the entire proposal in disguise. All four of us spent the next few days together celebrating – it was the most memorable trip and one I will never forget.

What made you choose our venue?
We loved the style of Mitton Hall, especially the main entrance with the fireplace and dramatic balcony – it felt really warm and cosy and we loved it. We also loved the size of the main room and how bright it was with the windows running along the back wall. It looks beautiful in our ceremony photos.

How was your experience with your Wedding Coordinator?
AMAZING. Chester on the day was absolutely out of this world and went above and beyond in every aspect. We had a slight mishap with one of our guests name card which was somehow resolved the morning of our wedding – I was absolutely amazed. Chester was super attentive and made sure I was at ease throughout the entire morning!

Who helped plan your wedding? Did anyone in particular bring your wedding to life?
Both sets of mums were a huge help, as well as my sister and sister-in-law. We also had Will’s brother-in-law as our MC which made our wedding. He was incredible and made the announcements very personal.

How did your event run on the day? Was there anybody who stood out?
It ran really smoothly. We did have a slight hiccup with our music which was slightly delayed on 2 occasions, other than that, the day was perfect. Chester (as mentioned above) was out of this world!

Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
Lemon theme (as it was in Summer) which also tied back to where we got Engaged, in the Amalfi Coast.

Were there any extra special unique touches that you included in your day?
We played games during our wedding breakfast including a personalised crossword and we gave out drinks tokens to the winning table. Our family MC also added a real personal touch to our day!

Tell us about your entertainment on the day?
We had Andrew Lingard as our guitarist who played during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. The vibe be brought to our wedidng breakfast was unmatched. Everyone was off their feet - he was incredible. We also had a Saxophone player in the evening!

Who was your photographer? Why did you choose them?
Our photographer was Daisybell Photography (Katie) - she was amazing and made me feel so at ease. She was the photographer at my sister-in-law’s wedding back in 2024. Katie went above and beyond on the day and produced the most amazing photos, so I just had to have her!

What’s your favourite moment that was captured on camera and where was it taken?
My favourite photo is at the front of Mitton Hall where I’m lifted in the air with my husband. It was after the wedding breakfast so the sun was starting to set - it’s my favourite photo!!

The venue is stunning, and it was captured beautifully in our photographs and videos. We loved how each room had its own unique style and character. We already can’t wait to come back on our wedding anniversary!
