Please tell us a little about your relationship. How did you meet? When, where and how was the proposal?
We first met in a bar in Liverpool and instantly hit it off. Four years later, during a birthday getaway to Amsterdam for Serena in 2025, we got engaged. It was the perfect surprise in one of our favourite cities, making it a moment we'll always treasure.

Why did you choose Wennington Hall?
From the moment we arrived, Wennington Hall just felt right. The atmosphere was incredible, the setting is absolutely stunning and every space is beautifully designed with such a high-quality finish. Our first private viewing with Claire made a huge impression too. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and we left knowing this was where we wanted to celebrate our wedding.

How would you describe your experience with your wedding coordinator at Wennington Hall?
It was amazing from beginning to end. Every member of the team was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and always happy to answer any questions we had. They genuinely made us feel like our wedding was important to them, which made the whole experience so special.

Did anyone in particular bring your wedding to life?
Claire and Eve played such a huge part in planning our day. Claire, in particular, was fantastic from start to finish. She remembered all the little details we'd discussed and was there to support us every step of the way. We also met Simon for the first time on the wedding day, and we honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better. Everything ran seamlessly, and his passion for what he does really shone through. Knowing everything was in such safe hands allowed us to completely relax and enjoy every moment.

Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
We kept everything timeless with a classic white and green colour palette. It complemented the elegance of Wennington Hall perfectly and created a fresh, romantic feel throughout the day.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?
A Thousand Years by The Piano Guys. It was the perfect choice for such an emotional moment and made walking down the aisle even more special.

What food did you choose for your wedding breakfast and why?
We chose the classic wedding breakfast. There was such a great variety of options available, so we knew there would be something everyone would enjoy. It was important to us that our guests had a fantastic dining experience, and the food certainly didn't disappoint.

Who was your photographer and why did you choose them?
Our photographer was Kiss the Bride Photography by Claire Riding. Claire is incredibly kind, professional and so talented at what she does. She captured every special moment beautifully and gave us memories we'll treasure forever.

Our evening entertainment was provided by Exceed Events, who kept the dance floor full all night. They created such a brilliant atmosphere and made sure the celebrations continued long into the evening.

Tell us about the little things that made your day personal.
The most important part of the day was being surrounded by the people we love. We'd spent so much time choosing personalised decorations and thoughtful touches, and the Wennington Hall team placed everything exactly where we'd imagined, bringing our vision to life perfectly. The team also checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Those small gestures meant so much and made us feel genuinely looked after from beginning to end. Looking back, we wouldn't change a thing.
