Please tell us a little bit about your relationship. How did you meet?
We met through match.com over 10 years ago. Billy lived in Leeds and I (Dawn) lived near Lincoln, so we were quite far away from each other. For the next few years it was a long distance relationship until I moved to Leeds.

Where, when and how was the marriage proposal?
It took place at Alnwick Gardens. We were sat in a secluded spot and there was a wedding being set up in front of the fountain. We were watching it being set up and when I turned around Billy was down on one knee. He had the ring in his jacket pocket but I never questioned why he was carrying it around even though it was about 24 Degrees Celsius that day.

What made you choose Falcon Manor?
As soon as we walked through door we got a very comfortable, homely feeling. It wasn’t too big or too small, relaxed and intimate. Also the staff were so welcoming.

Who helped plan your wedding? Did anyone in particular bring your wedding to life?
The team at Falcon Manor were amazing on the day. I can be quite controlling with times, and everything running smoothly in day to day life, but the team took care of all that and I could relax on my wedding day. They kept me in the loop and explained everything clearly. I don’t know what we would have done without them.
Your Theme
Did you have a theme or colour scheme for your wedding?
I wanted a wisteria, romantic vibe. With dark greens, pale yellows, blush colours and wisteria decoration.

What song did you walk down the aisle to?
Rae by Kevin Graham. It builds beautifully and just long enough to walk down the aisle to. We also had an instrumental version of A Thousand Years as our exit song in honor of my mum as it was our song.

Tell us about your entertainment on the day?
We had lawn games during the day and a DJ and Magic Mirror in the evening.

What's your favourite moment that was captured on camera and where was it taken?
There is so many to choose from but my favourite pictures are when I’m having those quite moments with my daughter, Evelyn, who was 5 months old at the time.
