Our very own Lesley-Anne gets married – at Eaves Hall!

An Extra Special “I Do” at Eaves Hall

Some weddings mean a little more - and this was one of them. We were incredibly proud to host the wedding of our Group Operations Manager, Lesley‑Anne, who after more than 10 years with James’ Places chose to celebrate her marriage to Nick Westwood right here at Eaves Hall! Taking place on Friday 28th February 2025, their day was a beautiful reflection of everything Lesley‑Anne brings to the weddings she supports across our collection – thoughtful details, effortless style and a genuine focus on guest experience. From the elegant black and neutral colour palette to the unforgettable party that followed, it was a wedding full of heart, warmth and personality. Hosting Lesley‑Anne and Nick’s wedding was a real honour for the entire team. To be trusted with such a personal celebration, especially by someone who knows our venues and standards so well, meant the world to us.

Why Eaves Hall?

When it came to choosing their venue, exclusivity and accessibility were key. Nick was keen to find a venue that felt completely private for the day, while Lesley‑Anne wanted to ensure the space was easily accessible for her parents, who have mobility requirements. With both having grown up in the Ribble Valley, getting married locally was also incredibly important. Eaves Hall ticked every box. Booked in November 2023 for a February 2025 wedding, the decision felt like a natural one. Lesley‑Anne has worked within James’ Places for over 11 years, so she knew first‑hand the level of service, care and food quality couples can expect.
“It was always going to be a James’ Places venue. We knew the service and food would be top notch – and the team absolutely did us proud.”

The Setting & Styling

Eaves Hall’s 18th‑century façade, sweeping driveway and beautifully kept grounds provided the perfect backdrop for the day. The front of the building in particular created stunning photo opportunities, captured beautifully by Kerry Woods Photography. The venue was styled by Creative Events & Ribble Valley Weddings, bringing Lesley‑Anne and Nick’s vision to life with a timeless monochrome and neutral palette that complemented the historic surroundings perfectly.

A Team That Truly Cared

Being on the other side of the planning process was a special experience for Lesley‑Anne – and a nerve‑wracking one for Nick, who had plenty of questions in the run‑up to the big day. The Eaves Hall team were there every step of the way. Maddison, Sales Manager at Eaves Hall, was a constant support and calming presence for Nick, both in the lead‑up and on the wedding morning itself. On the day, the wedding was run by Lucie, General Manager at Falcon Manor, which meant a great deal to Lesley‑Anne and ensured everything ran seamlessly and right on time. Several team members who have worked closely with Lesley‑Anne over the years were also involved, making the day feel even more personal.

Would They Recommend Eaves Hall?

Without hesitation. “The venue is stunning, the food is to die for and the team go above and beyond to create the best day for their couples.”
